In recognition of the 90th anniversaries of John Letters and the end of the Great War we will be giving a donation to The Royal British Legion’s Poppy Appeal.
John Letters will be giving a percentage of all products sold from Remembrance Day, November 11th, for a period of one month until December 12th. The donation will be made from sales of all products, which include clubs, bags, balls, gloves, and a full range of accessories.
John Andrew PGA Professional, and owner of John Letters Golf Limited, said:
“My Great Grandfather, John Thomas Andrew, fought in World War One and was one of the lucky ones to survive and as such The Royal British Legion has long been one of my favourite charities and we have made donations in the past. However, as we have both reached a landmark of 90 years together this year, we have decided to make a donation on all sales for a period of a month from Remembrance Day. This way we hope to raise thousands of pounds which will help support the current and ex-service community.”

Daniel Gaunt won the PartyPoker.com Players Championship at the East Sussex National at the weekend, coming through a nail-biting play-off to take the £10,000 jackpot.
The John Letters Tour Professional rolled in the winning putt at the second hole of the sudden death contest, beating off the challenges of James Busby and Mark Laskey, who finished level with Gaunt on nine-under par.
After securing a win at the PGA EuroPro Tour event, Gaunt immediately turned his sights to earning his Challenge Tour card back and putting in a good performance at the European Tour qualification school.
The 29-year-old told the PGA EuroPro Tour's official website: "I missed out on the top five of the Order of Merit by a week so now I've got to enter the first stage of Q School for the European Tour, but I'm looking to the top five or even topping the money list for the end of the year."

John Letters of Scotland was proud to have seven professional players
competing in the 2008 Open this year and five of the seven made it to
compete for the claret Jug and tee it up on Thursday.
Philip Archer, Jonathan Lomas, Philip Walton, Barry Hume, Adam Blyth,
all qualified to start at this years event, the final qualifying event saw
Daniel Gaunt narrowly missing out at West Lancs and Chris Gaunt missing out
at Southport and Ainsdale.
Philip Archer and Jonathan Lomas managed to make the 36 hole cut in what
must have been one of the worst Opens for weather conditions seen for years,
at times the weather was so bad that the R&A had to consider suspending
play as the ball was moving in the wind on the greens, in the end the R&A
relaxing the moving ball rule and play managed to go ahead without any delay.
On Sunday morning after 3 days of horrific weather Phil Archer was due to
tee off at 7.50 AM. The weather was so bad several players could not make it
to the practice ground to hit balls to warm up before teeing off and when Phil
teed off the weather was just about bearable. Playing with the 2007 rookie
of the year Martin Kaymer both players shot final day scores of 77. Phils
final total of 304, 24 over par for the Championship was a tremendous
effort in the conditions.
Jonathan Lomas played consistently all week with scores of 75, 73, 76,
75, to finish on 299, 19 over par to finish in a credible 64th place
ahead of World number 9 Justin Rose. Hopefully this positive week will
springboard Jonathan to good things for the rest of the season.
John Andrew, Managing Director of John Letters, was also at The Open handing out free caps to thousands of happy golf enthusiasts as part of our 90th Anniversary celebrations and met up with Ryder Cup Captain Nick Faldo and PGA Tour Player Justin Rose.
